So as you know, I’m not one to shy away from throwing myself about in the air, but hot air balloons are a whole different story. To say I was uneasy about the whole situation before we even got there would be an understatement, and my fears were justified!

As if a 5.45am start wasn’t bad enough, this thing didn’t hold back when it caught the wind! I’ll admit, it was great to be able to promote the Lottery’s involvement in developing the sportspeople of the future, as if it wasn’t for the support they give me I don’t know what I would have done, but still, when that thing hit the floor it hit it HARD!
